More Rove-inspired meddling comes to light. In Missouri, just before the 2006 election, a GOP operative had a hand in US Attorneys saying the GOP governor did no wrong in one case, and pursued vote-fraud charges (unsubstantiated) against a group registering low-income residents. In Minnesota, the DOJ considered firing a US Attorney who supported Native American voting rights. Griffin, the Rove buddy sneaked in to replace Arkansas' Bud Griffin is expected to resign today -- Rove's tactic angered the state's Senators. Payback.
