  • Tuesday - June 9. 8 PM. 6 PM. Book Signing: Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen. Author Susan Gregg Gilmore will be present at a special book signing on the day her novel debuts. Go Donna! More about this coming-of-age novel here. At Plainfield's Dairy Queen, 1367 South Avenue. All are invited.

  • Tuesday - June 9. 7:30 PM. City Council Agenda Session. City Hall Library. 515 Watchung Avenue. (Parking and entry at rear of building.) Public may speak at end of meeting. Rescheduled owing to Dem committee reorg.

  • Saturday - June 13. 9 AM - 2 PM. Household Special Waste Collection. Items accepted include: Batteries, tires (limit 8/household), propane tanks, paints & varnishes, aerosol cans, and more.
