McWilliams, Lewis report on Inaugural.. Year of the Ox.. Bernice: PMUA rate correction.. Shared services and Muhlenberg..

PLAINFIELD

PLAINFIELD TODAY:
Be sure to check out fellow Plainfield bloggers: Bernice notes gang graffiti and a correction on the PMUA rates. Maria has some wise words from the man for whom Emerson School is named. Olddoc does some back-of-the-envelope figgerin' on PMUA rates and asks Jerry for enlightenment. You should be AT the PEPtalk event by the time this arrives! PPS News has pix of Inauguration Day at Hubbard MS. PSN offers a preview of tonight's Mosley-Margarito welterweight fight. Councilor Annie McWilliams got her pix problems fixes and has a full report of her Inaugural weekend -- with pix. Assemblyman Green reports on his Inaugural dinner-dance. While it is reassuring that 'promises of accountability and transparency' are 'seeping all the way to the municipal level', I can find no mention of what happens to all the money that went to 'Jerry Green for Assembly'. You may recall the State Dems gave their Inaugural Ball proceeds to charity.

Vietnam Vet & Obama: "January 20th a day of joy and loss" -- Richard Boyce, who sang at the dedication of Plainfield's Veterans Memorial, ponders Obama and recalls his brother, killed in Vietnam.
