Bernice: Council agenda online.. Olddoc: Expect budget tonight?.. Maria: 'User friendly' school budget online.. Piv: Eyes are on the mayor..

PLAINFIELD TODAY:
Roads: "Plainfield gets money for Watchung Avenue work"
Unitarian Society: "New pastor seeks to grow First Unitarian Society of Plainfield"

Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Bernice notes tonight's Council agenda and Veterans Day details are on the city's website. Olddoc assumes (relying on past promises) a budget will be offered tonight. Maria finds the state's 'user friendly' budget superior to the district's online version. Councilor Storch and Councilor Burney note 'speed humps' have come to Kensington Avenue. GOP Mayoral candidate Pivnichny reminds the mayor that 2,000 pairs of eyes are watching her, with a list of items she needs to attend to. (Incumbent Robinson-Briggs' page is still 'under construction'.) Plainfield Sports News notes Jersey Justice final tryouts, and Carteret's civic sports center. Hmmm.

Also, three personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger, Renata Hernandez' PEPTalk: Revisited, and Jackie's The (TV) Show Must Go On.

Foreclosures: "Foreclosures grow in housing market's top tiers"
Swine Flu: "Union County receives vaccines, not enough syringes" -- Who's on first?

Union County: "Settlement document in wrongful release case" -- County released mentally ill woman onto street in bedroom slippers in dead of winter; she subsequently suffered amputations for frostbite. CountyWatchers bared the whole incident, swept under the rug by the County.

Gov.-Elect Christie --
Corzine --
Xanadu: "Christie input on Xanadu possible"
