Bernice: Police Mobile Command Center at Twin City?.. Olddoc: Polls show disappointment with Dems.. Maria on District PASA salaries..

PLAINFIELD TODAY:

Theater: "Plainfield-based groups offer 'Steel Magnolias' and 'The Wiz'"

Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Bernice has pix from a walkabout, including the Police Mobile Command Station, of which you will read more in Sunday's Courier. Olddoc suggests the poll numbers indicate disenchantment with the local party. Maria continues probing District salaries, asking if 12-month administrators shouldn't give 12-month service. Jerry says politics is business, not personal, and then after taking one more personal kick at Vastine, suggests moving on (post comments on Jerry's blog here). GOP Mayoral candidate Pivnichny reminds ALL candidates it's time to get rid of political signs. (Incumbent Robinson-Briggs' page is still 'under construction', so we don't know if she has any advice about political signs.) Assembly candidate Vastine settles up with Jerry: as far as the campaign for Assembly, it's over; as far as the campaign to hold the Assemblyman accountable, it's just beginning.

Also, three personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger, Renata Hernandez' PEPTalk: Revisited, and Jackie's The (TV) Show Must Go On.
