ELECTION DAY.. Bernice: Jerry attacked over gay marriage.. Olddoc: 65-count indictment of Sharon.. Maria not undecided on Mayor, Assembly..

PLAINFIELD TODAY:
Bowling Alley Shooting: "$2M bail set for Plainfield man in fatal shooting" -- Courier | Ledger |
Halloween Shooting: "Two Plainfield boys, 11 and 16, shot" -- Courier | Ledger |
2004 Murder: "Convictions of 2 Plainfielders in shooting of Paul Lercaros upheld" -- Courier |
Tainted Beef: "Contaminated beef sold at Trader Joe's, BJ's in NJ"

Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Bernice notes Jerry and Linda are being challenged for support of gay marriage, mounting (literally) leak problems at her building, and some endearing Mousie pix. Olddoc's indictment of the Robinson-Briggs administration runs to 65 counts, plus Carhenge and western Nebraska (from whence my maternal grandmother--DD). Maria is not undecided about Mayor or Assembly, but Governor?... Jerry is still 'stonewalling' (post comments on Jerry's blog here). GOP Mayoral candidate Pivnichny lists 38 reasons he is running. (Incumbent Robinson-Briggs' page is still 'under construction'.) Assembly candidate Vastine urges all to 'vote, the future of NJ is at stake'!.

Also, three personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger, Renata Hernandez' PEPTalk: Revisited, and Jackie's The (TV) Show Must Go On.

J&J: "Restructuring will cut management, take $1.3B charge"
NJT: "NJT and Port Authority upgrade websites" -- Pressure to provide more, better real-time info.
Turtle Back Zoo: "West Orange attraction breaks attendance record"
Union County: "Jail's wrongful release of woman swept under rug" -- A mentally ill woman was discharged onto the street in bitter winter weather, in bedroom slippers, without notifying her family.
