Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Bernice is PayPal enabled (again) and has a spectacular praying mantis shot (not while you're eating, tho). Olddoc has a spicy potpourri, including wondering if Council will insist on a full accounting of the Town Hall expenses, a defense of Plainfield bloggers against (evident) accusations of racism, etc. Maria has some sharp questions about agendas and minutes -- including City Council's. Piv asks if the Gang Forum was hoopla or serious business. Councilor Mapp wonders why Administration 'disses' Council when need for collaboration is so clear. Jerry continues his attack on Cory Storch, declaring he won't waste his time answering Dan or Bernice (then spending 477 words doing so). Councilor McWilliams outlines her 'FAIR' (Fiscal Accountability, Integrity and Responsibility) package, with box scores. Plainfield Sports News finds Thunder starting its Harrisburg series with a win.
Don't miss these personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger; BOE member Renata Hernandez blogs anew at new blog Standing In The Gap, notes open gym Thursdays in August at Washington, Emerson schools; her daughter Milani Hernandez is at PEPTalk: A PPS pupil's perspective; Jackie Schnoop's The (TV) Show Must Go On, posts her weekend pix...are those piñatas caught in flagrante delicto?; and Dottie Gutenkauf's Dottie G Sez. There are two personal blogs concerned with the Plainfield public schools: Dr. E=MC²; and Eye on Plainfield Schools.
