Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Bernice notes skirmishes between Council and administration continue on several fronts; and Evie Madsen bench at Shakespeare Garden. Olddoc has questions on abandoned properties and promises a post on Council by noon. Maria notes BOE will merge old (1970), new policies; has a question about Plainfield's form of government. Piv asks if the Gang Forum was hoopla or serious business. Councilor Mapp wonders why Administration 'disses' Council when need for collaboration is so clear. Jerry continues his attack on Cory Storch, declaring he won't waste his time answering Dan or Bernice (then spending 477 words doing so). Councilor Storch demands Jerry cease-and-desist in smearing Bridgeway. Councilor McWilliams posts a letter regarding the commemoration of Muhlenberg's closing; and note that two of her F.A.I.R. ordinances passed last night.

Don't miss these personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger holds Cory Storch up as an exmplar of public service; BOE member Renata Hernandez blogs anew at new blog Standing In The Gap, reminds all of open gym Thursdays in August at Washington, Emerson schools;  her daughter Milani Hernandez is at PEPTalk: A PPS pupil's perspective; Jackie Schnoop's The (TV) Show Must Go On, moves on from those licentious piƱatas  with more Big Brother 12 live feeds into dawn this morning; and Dottie Gutenkauf's Dottie G Sez. There are two personal blogs concerned with the Plainfield public schools: Dr. E=MC²; and Eye on Plainfield Schools.
