PLAINFIELD

PLAINFIELD TODAY:
Be sure to check out fellow Plainfield bloggers below --

Bernice provides links to tonight's Council agenda, elaborates on liquor license issues, and wonders whether Columbus Day will renew a discussion of Bierstedt's Columbus painting. Maria dates sidewalk bubble gum back to 2005 (actually, Councilor Dunn was on it MANY years ago), and anticipates the schools' new Genesis communication tool. Olddoc details the Great Plainfield Teacher's College hoax -- a must read! Two new items at Save Muhlenberg: The legal ad on the Solaris bond hearing (9/25), and a letter from Carolyn Eklund on patient endangerment. At PPS News, Dr. Gallon recognizes the custodial staff contributions. PEPtalk will be back Thursday. While Assemblyman Green's blog is stuck on daylaborers, he is in the news today about the Armory -- you can read more at Councilor Burney's blog and at Plainfield Today.

Art Festival: "Storm doesn't stop Outdoor Festival of Art" -- This was missing online yesterday.
Partnership in Philanthropy: "John Richard chairs PIP Gala" -- John (who raised $187M to build NJPAC) and Lynne (a former BOE member) have lived in Plainfield since 1978. Way to go!
