PLAINFIELD

PLAINFIELD TODAY:
Be sure to check out fellow Plainfield bloggers below --

Bernice notes the BOE meets Tuesday in new digs (with link to agenda). Maria finds some pleasant --and unpleasant -- things in the Park Avenue business corridor, as well as a mystery plant. Olddoc reminds us Drs. Sabine and Salk put iron lungs in the dustbox of history. On Save Muhlenberg, the question is: Is Plainfield prepared for disaster without Muhlenberg. PEPtalk will be back Thursday. Councilor Burney reports on the official opening of Democratic HQ on East Front Street -- with photos.

Missing in Action: Today's Courier print edition has the following items which are NOT online: A story on yesterday's Art Festival, an OpEd by Dr. Brian Fertig on larger issues Muhlenberg's closure poses, and a North Plainfielder who runs the McCain campaign's day-to-day operations.
