  • Tomorrow - April 24. 11 AM. Arbor Day Observance. The late neighborhood leader Charles Billups will be honored, as well as designations of 'specimen trees' -- and American Elm (Madison Avenue) and a Tulip Tree (Stelle Avenue). At Bryant Playground, 419 East 6th Street (between Franklin Place and Richmond Street, parking also available on 5th Street). Public invited.

  • Saturday - April 25. 9 AM - 1 PM. Community Health Fair: RWJ's Scotch Plains Center. Free healthy food, children's activities, cooking demos, clowns, giveaways -- and health information.
