  • Saturday - September 5. 10 AM - 4 PM. 46th Annual Outdoor Festival of Art. Fine arts, crafts, music, dance, food and more. Children's Art Table, face painting and more.   • Tuesday - September 8 (Date changed because of Labor Day). 7:30 PM. City Council Agenda Session. City Hall Library. 515 Watchung Avenue. (Parking and entry at rear of building.) Public may speak at end of meeting.

  • Saturday - September 12. 11 AM - 6 PM. Downtown Block Party. Food and merchandise displays. Free samples and gifts. Dora the Explorer, Diego and Solecitos for the kids. DJ, multi-cultural dancers. Special guest: Consulate of El Salvador. Front Street between Park and Watchung Avenues will be closed for the event. (Rain date, September 19.) FREE.

  • Saturday - September 12. 11 AM - 3 PM. 10th Annual PMUA Environmental Fair. Environmental displays, activities for the whole family. Food and music. At Library Park, West 8th Street between College Place and Arlington Avenue. (Rain date September 26.) FREE.

  • Saturday - September 12. 6:30 PM Gates open, 7 PM start. NJ Wolves vs. NE Pennsylvania Miners. Plainfield-based NJ Wolves is an adult amateur tackle football team, a member of the Regional American Football League. Tickets: $5, children under 12 free. At Seidler Field, North and Netherwood Avenues (across from the Netherwood Station). Concession stand will be open.
