Connolly Properties' David Connolly is scheduled to return to the courtroom of Judge Andrew Baron to report on progress in addressing thousands of code violations in his Plainfield rental properties. Public may attend. Having one's 'day in court' is literally that -- the Connolly case will come up at some point during the day, but no telling exactly when.
- Saturday - August 8. 9 AM - 2 PM. Reading Sisterhood Scholarship Yard Sale. The Reading Sisterhood raises funds for an annual scholarship in memory of Hope McLean-Austin, who was a special ed teacher in the Plainfield Schools. This year's scholarship goes to Brianna Shelton, granddaughter of Anna and Charles Booker. Lots of good stuff! At 1601 Watchung Avenue (corner of Charlotte Road).
