: Bernice recaps the history of schools facilities, noting there is no 'swing' any more. Olddoc has some acronym fun at BOE-followers' expense. Maria posts contact info for Dr. Gallon and the BOE, plus the PPS 'progress' checklist. As for her threat to take a few days off, we'll see about that! Piv reviews those who spoke out at Council: businesses, PMEA union, and Latino community. CBAC (budget advisory committee) looks for your questions and/or comments -- citizens are chiming in, check it out and add your voice. PPS News (Schools) finds English language proficiency advances, despite the alphabet soup of acronyms.

Don't miss these personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger; Renata Hernandez' PEPTalk: Revisited, Renata posts her daughter's remarks prepared (but not delivered) for the BOE, plus a comment from the NJForums; Jackie Schnoop's The (TV) Show Must Go On, finds teams and website up for The Amazing Race; and Dottie Gutenkauf's Dottie G Sez.
