  • Today - January 24. 2 PM (Talk begins at 2:30). Exhibit and Talk: Stitches in Time: American Quilts, 1777-1915. Come out for this exhibit from the Drake House quilt collection, featuring the 1777 'Tree of Life' quilt, one of the finest of its era. Historian and quilter Mary Della Salla will offer a gallery talk and demonstration of quilting techniques. The selection of twelve quilts from the museum's collection is the first in 35 years. A $5 donation is requested. The Drake House is at 602 West Front Street, at the foot of Plainfield Avenue. Limited parking is available on site, plus Geraud Avenue, adjacent to the museum.
