McWilliams and Storch on difficult decisions.. Bernice and Maria on BOE tonight.. PHS Boys (12-0) face St. Pat's without Johnson?..

WILL BE TWEETING BOE MEETING TONIGHT -- Follow me HERE.

PLAINFIELD TODAY:
Barlow School: "Barlow students in fundraiser for Haiti relief" -- Suggested by 6th-grader Annette Fornah.
PHS Boys: "Injury may keep Tyrone Johnson out of game against St. Pat's"
Jayson Williams: "Williams ordered to wear alcohol-detecting ankle bracelet" -- Ledger | Courier |

Corruption: "Massive corruption case goes to court with trial of JC deputy mayor"
Legislature: "Corzine gave legislature $1M to make payroll" -- Assembly overspent its budget.
Renewable Energy: "Morris improvement authority sets innovative public-private partnership"
Transit-oriented Development: "North Brunswick weighs train station for Rt 1 development"
Walmart: "Walmart cutting 11,200 jobs at Sam's Club warehouses" -- Not encouraging.

Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Bernice notes tonight's BOE meeting and the vitriol around issues, as well as whether Plainfield is a 'transit village'. Olddoc took some football time on Sunday (good thing or bad thing?), check back later today. Maria wonders if there will be an end to the BOE personnel tunnel tonight. Councilor Storch takes on difficult budget questions. Councilor McWilliams posts concerning providing quality social services at minimal cost to Plainfielders. CBAC (budget advisory committee) looks for your questions and/or comments -- citizens are chiming in, check it out and add your voice. Plainfield's Cable TV Board Blog posts examples of community-schools public access partnerships, and further notes on P&P (policies and procedures). Plainfield Sports News finds the PHS Boys make it a 12-0 run, even without the injured Tyrone Johnson, plus the Express win over Tri-City Suns.

Don't miss these personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger; Renata Hernandez' PEPTalk: Revisited, Renata says 'see you at the board meeting tonight'; Jackie Schnoop's The (TV) Show Must Go On, does her week's wrap, plus more fascinating Plainfield pix -- it's in the 'eye', you know...you must check them out; and Dottie Gutenkauf's Dottie G Sez.
