  • Thursday - November 25. Noon - 3 PM. Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner. The congregation of the First Unitarian Society of Plainfield annually opens it doors and its hearts to those who are alone or hungry on Thanksgiving for a home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner.  At First Unitarian Society of Plainfield, 724 Park Avenue. (Parking in city lot across from church.)

  • Monday - November 29. 8 PM. Special City Council Business Meeting. City Council will hold a hearing on a revised layoff plan for FY2011 and other matters. Location to be announced.. Public may speak on agenda items at beginning of meeting, on any item at end of meeting.
