Bernice unmasking a (hyper)local blogger?.. Olddoc: Monarch's blurry political edges.. Vastine: Stender/Green behind anonymous blog?..

Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Speaking hyperlocally, does Bernice unmask a mystery blogger? Full info on the FOSH Blessing of Animals event and a pictorial invitation to 'walk and gawk'. Olddoc looks at the blurred lines between the Monarch condos, Ray Lesniak, Jerry Green and Union County Dem heavyweight Charlotte DeFilippo; plus his 4-word review of the Baucus health care bill. Councilor Mapp has constituent office hours this evening, 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Mayoral candidate Pivnichny comments on the FOSH-sponsored PMUA forum. (Incumbent Robinson-Briggs' page is still 'under construction'.) Assembly candidate Vastine wonders aloud if opponents Linda Stender and Jerry Green are behind an anonymous blog.

Also, three personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger, Renata Hernandez' PEPTalk: Revisited, and Jackie's The (TV) Show Must Go On.

Hillside: "Mayor-Council relations thawing?"
Somerville: "Fire marshal cleared in church case" -- Use of building without a certificate of occupancy.
Stimulus Money: "Madison wants funds to build parking deck near station" -- Why not for the deck proposed on East 2nd Street in Plainfield?

2009 Races --
Corruption 44: "Ridgefield council calls for probe of mayor in library donation"
Employment: "Governor rallies business in face of dire employment numbers"
Mayors Against Illegal Guns: "NRA leads attack against mayors opposed to illegal guns" -- Not to worry, far as I know, Mayor Robinson-Briggs is not a member of the coalition.

Obituary: "Mary Travers, of 'Peter, Paul & Mary', '60s folk group" -- A photo slideshow is here.
