Council.. Bernice: Merchant questions Jerry on Fiesta; Seniors get C/O.. Olddoc: A parliamentary point.. Jerry nips Christie.. Bo corrects Jerry..

Accident: "Trucker who hit cyclist, 9, won't face charges"
Drugs: "Plainfield raid yields four arrests, thousands in drugs"

Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Bernice recaps the Council meeting, plus a merchants' comment which throws suspicion on Jerry's blog about last weekend's Fiesta. Olddoc makes a parliamentary point for now, and will write up his Council notes later. Councilor Mapp explains the withdrawal of the Monarch abatement ordinance (no Executive Session was, or could be, held). Maria ponders Latinos and leadership, school and city. Jerry nips Chris Christie's ankle (memo to self: 'fair use' allows excerpting an article, not reprinting the whole thing). Plainfield Sports News announces Jersey Express' final open tryout. Mayoral candidate Pivnichny notes the Monarch saga continues. (Incumbent Robinson-Briggs' page is still 'under construction'.) Assembly candidate Vastine has been busy, taking on Jerry (and Linda) with posts on taxes and Christie's and Corzine's investments contrasted.

Also, three personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger, Renata Hernandez' PEPTalk: Revisited, and Jackie's The (TV) Show Must Go On.
