Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Bernice (Bernice corrects Dan at 11:55 AM: 'I don't think I said what you attributed to me: Bernice posts the only Council committee report available and notes others should be made so. I said reports are not on the city web site. I don't know for sure that none are available through the clerk's office. Adrian's report is an example, not necessarily the only one available.' Dan pleads guilty to dashing headlong through the tulips to get something up about each and every blog by a decent time in the AM. You win some, you lose some. Sorry Bernice.-- Dan). Olddoc has a potpourri including questions about the upcoming PMUA tax lien sale and notes an anonymous commenter is schlepping poison around, plus pix from former Field Avnenue block association member Rita Goldstein's granddaughter's Brazilian adventures. Maria reviews Tuesday's BOE meeting. Plainfield Sports News notes 'hometown hero' Milt Campbell will speak at the YMCA's annual meeting/banquet.

PRIMARY ELECTION CAMPAIGN BLOGS
A contested Democratic primary for the Wards 2/3 seat this year has three candidates seeking the party line on the November ballot: incumbent Rashid Burney, New Democrat Rebecca Williams, and former Ward 3 councilor Don Davis. In addition, Jim Pivnichny is an uncontested candidate in the Republican primary. Their online presences are listed below--
  • DEMOCRATS
  • REPUBLICAN
    • JIM PIVNICHNY: (BLOG)
You can only vote in the primary of the party in which you are registered (Democrat or Republican). Registered voters who have not declared a party affiliation may do so on Primary Day at their polling place and vote in the primary of their choice.
Don't miss these personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger; Renata Hernandez' PEPTalk: Revisited, her personal blog; Jackie Schnoop's The (TV) Show Must Go On, notes American Idol has turned out just as she hope; and Dottie Gutenkauf's Dottie G Sez. There are two personal blogs concerned with the Plainfield public schools: Dr. E=MC², finds inevitable change in District causing fear and confusion; and Eye on Plainfield Schools, asks whether the District will let solutions out of boxes in which they are kept.
