PLAINFIELD

PLAINFIELD TODAY:
Be sure to check out fellow Plainfield bloggers: Bernice notes an application for Thomas Furniture building is up tonight, Master Plan will be discussed Thursday, and the Senior Center dedication date is set. Olddoc has been really busy (check all his posts), and notes stamp prices are going up but you can still get 'forever' stamps. PEPtalk notes state tests are being administered. Maria is gardening today. Council Burney plugs this weekend's 'Raisin in the Sun' production (see calendar below) and wonders about CH74 programming.

In April, CLIPS offered to post links to online presences (website, blog, Facebook, etc.) any candidate may be using for the 2009 primary election campaign. That included posting notices of fundraisers, rallies, etc. in the calendar section. Snail mail invitations were sent to each candidate, inviting them to email links and notices to Dan and that the links will be in a special section on the CLIPS page beginning Wednesday, May 6. Links above are to those who have responded. Those not responding include: Carol Ann Brokaw-Boles, Martin Cox, Bob Ferraro and Tom Turner, as well as Assemblyman Jerry Green.
