PLAINFIELD

Memo to primary candidates: Just a reminder. CLIPS is offering to post links to online presences (website, blog, Facebook, etc.) any candidate may be using for the 2009 primary election campaign. CLIPS will also post notices of fundraisers, rallies, etc. in the calendar section (please be timely if you want exposure!). Email links and notices to Dan here. The links will appear in a special section on the CLIPS page beginning Wednesday, May 6. Snail mail reminders of this invitation have been mailed by USPS to each candidate. Be there or be square.
PLAINFIELD TODAY:
Be sure to check out fellow Plainfield bloggers: Bernice notes a busy week ahead (and how to tell it's time for a break), plus a plug for libraries. They're more important than ever now, you know! Maria has a great eye for some 8th Street pix, wishes Dr. Gallon a (belated) HB, and marks Public Gardens Day. Love that scary tree-face! Olddoc on giving Dr. Gallon a chance and holding the BOE accountable, plus a Roman town on the Danube. Councilor Burney posts his explanation of tax assessments. You may find the mango story more tasty.
