PLAINFIELD

PLAINFIELD TODAY:
Be sure to check out fellow Plainfield bloggers: Councilor Storch makes a sharp and cogent argument in endorsing Rick Smiley over Assemblyman Green. Bernice covers the Memorial Day ceremony, the 'other' memorial and a PMUA dilemma. Olddoc surveys the political landscape as we enter the primary's home stretch. Maria takes a break and suggests checking out the Tulip tree in bloom at Cedar Brook Park. Councilor Burney warns speeders to beware! (BTW, did you note the seat-belt checkpoints over the weekend?).

ASSEMBLY

SMILEY [blog] Details his positions, starting with 'I am not Jerry Green'.

In April, CLIPS offered to post links to online presences any candidate may be using for the 2009 primary election campaign. That included notices of fundraisers, rallies, etc. in the calendar section. Snail mail invitations were sent to each candidate, inviting them to email links and notices to Dan and that the links will be in a special section on the CLIPS page beginning Wednesday, May 6. Links above are to those who have responded. Those not responding include: Carol Ann Brokaw-Boles, Bob Ferraro and Tom Turner, as well as Assemblyman Jerry Green.
