  • Saturday - March 6. 11 AM - 1 PM. 'Black Collectibles House Tour' and Brunch. Sit down to a sumptuous Champagne Brunch after Exploring a Plainfield collector's extensive Black memorabilia, displayed throughout her gracious home -- including a 'shrine to Barck Obama'.   • Saturday - March 6. 7 PM. 'Chat With Charles' | 8 PM. Concert. Plainfield Symphony: Russian Nights - Prokofiev and Shostakovich. Winners of the Young Pianists of NJ competition are featured: Senior Doris Lee of Warren will play Shostakovich Piano Concerto No. 2 (3rd movement) and 8th-grader Sean Lee, of Darien, CT, will perform Prokofiev's Piano Concert No. 1. The evening concludes with Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5. Music Director Charles Prince will give a talk on the evening's program at 7:00 PM in the Chapel, free with your concert ticket. The Plainfield Symphony performs at Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church, East 7th Street and Watchung Avenue. (Parking at Swain's or on 1st Place.)   • Saturday - March 6. Following the PSO Concert. Plainfield Symphony Society: Conductor's Circle Party. This year's party honors Greg Haworth and Mary Burgwinkle, longtime supporters of the PSO.   • Sunday - March 7. 1 - 4 PM. Celebrating Women's History Month: Women Artists: Lives and Work. New Jersey artist and educator (she teaches at du Cret) Joan Arbeiter has mounted two exhibitions at the Drake House, running through May 2. At this opening reception, Ms. Arbeiter will gallery talks about her work at 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. The Drake House is at 602 West Front Street, at the foot of Plainfield Avenue.   • Sunday - March 7. 3 PM. Benefit Concert: Edwin Lopez and Ron Thayer, Piano and Organ. Celebrated local musicians present a benefit concert of rarely heard music of Bach, Clementi, Brahms, Schumann and others. Proceeds benefit the CECA Musical Arts Program.
