A Black History Month celebration by the Queen City Academy Charter School, the Historical Society of Plainfield and the Plainfield Cultural & Heritage Commission. In Rosa Parks' own words, the essence of the struggle for fundamental rights for black Americans is conveyed. High school students interested in attending Morgan State University can visit the campus through this bus trip. Attendees get a campus tour, tickets to men's and women's basketball games against Norfolk State, and an all-you-can-eat lunch. Seniors may sit with on-site admissions counselors. $75/person, all-inclusive. Student under 16 must be accompanied by a chaperone. Trip begins and ends at Metropark station in Edison.
