Bernice: Kinokuniya and Ichiro.. Olddoc: Shocking analysis of school violence data.. Maria: What % of school budget is spent on textbooks?..

PLAINFIELD TODAY:
22nd District Race: "All candidates agree race centers on spending" -- Odd this story comes out AFTER the Courier endorsement (see here) of Marks and Vastine.
Bias Crime Prosecution --
Halloween: "Costumes, curfews and parades in Middlesex, Union counties" -- Not a mention of Plainfield in the Courier story, which is not THEIR fault (check 'What's Happening' below for Plainfield activities).

Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Bernice indulges at Kinokuniya's Seattle store, while Ichiro stares into Plainfielders' souls. Olddoc analyzes school violence data by incidents/thousand students, with a shocking result (report, I believe, covers 2007-08 school year). Maria reports Plainfield boys soccer advances to the state tournament, plus a math challenge: what percentage of budget is spent on textbooks. Plainfield Sports News reports the Cardinals fall in Rahway. Jackie, Plainfield's TV blogger (see paragraph below), who is a Connolly tenant and works in NYC, shares her view on the local election (she's for Piv), as well as NYC's.

Also, three personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger, Renata Hernandez' PEPTalk: Revisited, and Jackie's The (TV) Show Must Go On.

Edison: "Four candidates run for mayor"
Policing: "Report due on troubled Princeton police force"
Woodbridge: "Council races in 5 wards" -- Woodbridge elects all council members at same time.

2009 Races --
Gay Marriage: "Hundreds at State House protest gay marriage"
Swine Flu: "Schools rethink perfect attendance to cope with swine flu"
Wedding: "Ivanka Trump weds Jared Kushner" -- NYTimes | Ledger | -- Comb-over king's kid and owner of PolitickerNJ and NY Observer.
