Plainfield observers (click on name to go to post): Bernice notes the Mayor has Piv thrown out of the Senior Center, the QC Baseball League seeks support, and the Library has an Essay Contest. Olddoc lets a little air out of Jerry's Corzine puffery and Obama's lab coat photo opp. Maria asks how the District can have, but lose, a case of science textbooks. Jerry, (sounds like his ghostwriter to me) is slippery and evasive about his support of gay marriage, including a little Bush-baiting; he also posts an endorsement and a notice of a tenants rights meeting (post comments on Jerry's blog here). Assembly candidate Vastine takes challenges Jerry and Burney on gay marriage doubletalk, posting comments by Rebecca Williams to Burney's blog that Burney had originally not put up. Mayoral candidate Pivnichny summarizes his thoughts on pay-to-play and no-bid contracts made to the Council on Monday. (Incumbent Robinson-Briggs' page is still 'under construction'.) Plainfield Sports News introduces Sky Blue FC, the NJ/NY professional women's soccer team (home field, Piscataway).

Also, three personal blogs by Plainfielders, each with a point of view: Rebecca Williams' Confessions of a Bathrobe Blogger, Renata Hernandez' PEPTalk: Revisited, and Jackie's The (TV) Show Must Go On.
