- Today - October 10. 3 PM. POP: Anti-Violence March. Plainfield's chapter of People's Organization for Progress will march from East 2nd Street and McKinley Place to Richmond and East Third Streets. Both locations are the site of recent shootings, with 2009's second homicide at the Richmond Street location. All are invited.
- Today - October 10. 7 PM. Plainfield Symphony 90th Anniversary Gala Concert. Newly appointed conductor Charles Prince will be joined by former conductors George Marriner Maull and Sabin Pautza in a special program marking the 90th season opening.
