  • Today - October 16. 6 - 8 PM. The Drake House Reopens! Join in as the Drake House officially reopens after major capital improvements -- including heating, air conditioning and dehumidifying systems and accessibility improvements -- which will prepare the Drake House for serving the 21st century needs of its Plainfield patrons.   • Tomorrow /Sunday - October 17/18. Four Centuries In A Weekend. The Drake House is one of 25 historic sites and buildings throughout Union County sharing five themed activities on this very popular weekend. The Drake House will be open Saturday from 10 AM - 5 PM, and Sunday from Noon to 5 PM. For a complete program and list of sites, visit Union County's web page here.   • NEW LISTING. Tomorrow - October 17. 5 - 10 PM (Opening Reception). Gallery Show: Theater Town. The annual group show at the NJ School of Architecture. This year's theme is Newark's fabled theaters. Plainfield artist Maria Mijares is an invited participant, with four pieces. Show runs through November 28.
