- Sunday - November 1. 4 PM. Community Rally for Muhlenberg. Muhlenberg activists and mayoral candidates Deborah Dowe and Jim Pivnichny invite the community to a rally and press conference to advocate restoring full services to Muhlenberg. Dr. Brian Fertig will speak. Outside the front entrance to Muhlenberg (rain location: duCret). Refreshments follow the rally at duCret School of the Arts, 1030 Central Avenue. WBGO 'Champions of Jazz' Benefit. 30 years of WBGO are being celebrated with a concert honoring 9-time Grammy winner Paquito D'Rivera and the venerable jazz authority DownBeat Magazine.
